gregorycromwell.com

Thanks to my mate Jason I have my very own domain name registered: another url to add to my growing collection of over 20 domain names. It's all fine and well to have a domain registered but what are you going to do with it?

Here is what I want my own domain name to be like when it gets its dns hooked up.

I found Ryan on Twitter. Of course I did. Shameless self promotion here I come. Counting down to the launch of my business development consultancy. Frank Heaps had many bits of entrepreneurial wisdom that live with me: don't drink your own bathwater is an all time favourite; however, this one fits this blog best

"a consultant is someone who borrows your watch to tell you what time it is, and then charges you for it. ...

Beer Blog Dreams answered with Stone and Wood

Several months back I blogged about wanting to get back into the Beer business. When you have spent most of your adult life with keys to a brewery it's hard to get used to going to bottle shops.

My beer blog dreams came true shortly after publishing my desires. I do not have keys for the new Stone and Wood Brewery being built in Byron Bay; however, I am proud to announce that their website/blog is now live: stoneandwood.com.au

Congratulations Brad, Ross and Jamie partners in beer. Thanks Andrew, Mollie and Nighean for your fine design and web application wizardry.

Home Page Copy Revision

Getting the homepage of your website right is everything. Let's look at the copy on Bush Marketing's home page.

welcome to bbm

Bush has been based in Byron Bay since 2001. People on our team also hang out in Sydney, Toronto, Vancouver and Melbourne.

If your business or organisation is looking for fresh ideas and results contact Gregory Cromwell to arrange a complementary business development consulting session. We specialise in web design and development and know how to optimise and market your brand on the web.

Revised Copy (note making it up on the fly from the shed-strategy. less is more)

want to grow?

Bush Branding & Marketing was founded by Gregory Cromwell to provide consulting services for growing businesses. Nighean, Jason, Rachael, Andrew have completed over 1500 projects: primarily design driven, web work with loose briefs and tight budgets.

If you would like to meet us, try our contact form, and do let us know a bit about how you think we can best help you.

Gregory Cromwell plays with youtube, linked in, del.icio.us, twitter and digg.

This could be the strategic breakthrough I have been trying to self medicate with. Point is that if you are not happy with what your homepage says to people then change it. See what happens. I will keep you posted on what happens to our business once Kaleigh te copy editor/writer and the rest of our team has their say.

Ruby Williams website on Rails Coming Soon

I met and bought my first Ruby over 1o years ago. Since then I have visited Ruby C Williams every time we go to Florida. On my most recent visit I promised Ruby that I would build her a website. Ruby does not use computers. Ruby understandably is suspicious of offers to help make her famous. In her words. I am already famous.

Pictured with Ruby is Jon Sturge who will be the consulting photographer for Ruby's Ruby on Rails website.

For more pictures of Ruby Williams visit my facebook album.
